However, this game is amazing as it is. I wish I had a mobile version to buy to keep on my phone all the time.

Play / ESCAPE \ and watch your weekend disappear
It's Saturday, the start of Labor Day Weekend, and you don't have any plans. Rather than cry into a pint of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food, why don't you give this little Flash game a go? The hours will melt away. / ESCAPE \ is a simple one-button score attack game, not unlike Canabalt, in which the object is to climb as high up a vertical shaft as you can. You are little black-and-purple ninja dude who bounds off the walls whenever you press the ESC button. If you don't press anything, you'll slide down the wall; if you time your button presses precisely, you'll propel yourself faster. You have to carefully avoid electrified panels while also staying ahead of a pursuing laser beam. Once you begin, the music starts bumpin' and your blood starts pumpin'. Then you keep replaying until your plants wither and your bananas brown, and then you play some more. Addiction. Play / ESCAPE \ [Kongregate] Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Reminds me of a Nin-jump except with better music. I just played it for a bit, and then stopped. It's not the type of game that would get me addicted. Damn, that's almost as brutal as Super Meat Boy. Good thing it's not on iTunes. I'd be bouncing off the walls everywhere I go. @RonBurgandy2010 Not really, I haven't run into a situation I couldn't-have-handled if I'd been paying better attention yet, and I've maxed over 350m. Pretty sure some jumps are impossible to make because if you jump you do it right into an electrified wall and you touch one if you let yourself slide as well. The game requires more skill than let on. The controls are sensitive. Press the button harder, you go faster and higher. Opposite effect if you press it lightly. And if you hold down on the button when going to the other wall, you slide up a little. And then there's the illusion of urgency. You can let the character slide down a little before getting killed. It's just when you see that first wheel, you get that feeling to keep on going even though its the laser that's the dangerous part, not the wheel. I don't want to admit how much time I spent trying to get the "hard" achievement for this...I only got to 331. I want a version of this game that the only way to succeed is to chain together your jumps perfectly (like when you get that cool purple trail). it'd get harder and harder as you continued chaining the jumps, plus it'd be super fun.
However, this game is amazing as it is. I wish I had a mobile version to buy to keep on my phone all the time. So if you try to maintain a constant high speed, you'll fly into an electric field that was offscreen and you couldn't have seen. 8:30 PM on 04.01.2013 Monday Mind Teasers: The GuardianIt's a little too short, a little too simple, a little tedious, and doesn't have enough music, but that's still not stopping me from declaring that The Guardian on Newgrounds is one of the best simple pixel art games I've eve...
