This game looks fantastic though.
Irrespective, its good to see it's still being developed. Hopefully it will be good because the whole natural disaster angle is a pretty cool idea.
Now we just need some new info about Sadness....

"Disaster is right!" headline be gone; Disaster: Day of Crisis shows potential
When the Wii was first announced last year, there were two “mature” looking games on its tentative release slate. The first, Project: H.A.M.M.E.R. sadly looks to now be all but cancelled and the second, Disaster: Day of Crisis, kind of fell off the radar, even though Nintendo and developer Monolith promised it would be coming out … someday. After a lukewarm reaction to the media released so far for the mysterious Disaster, some new screens quietly snuck out of Nintendo’s recent press conference and, I have to admit, they actually piqued my interest. And, yes, before anyone states the obvious: of course the graphics don’t look as fancy as the high-def wonders possible on the Xbox 360 or PS3. But just take a look at this early screenshot dropped back in February and tell me if you don’t think things have improved quite dramatically. That’s all I’m saying … If the final gameplay lives up to its epic, tsunami/earthquake/tornado dodging promise and is even half as fun as the underrated Disaster Report, this is one Wii game that I will most definitely have to check out. What do you think? Am I crazy, or do you actually see some potential in these screens? [Via Jeuxfrance; seriously, TheGoldenDonut, wow!] Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)You and insanity are far apart on this one...that is to say you are right! The game looks 100 times better and makes me actually want it. Plus look at that guys side burns! I mean, you don't put sideburns like that on just anyone, he must be awesome. I see plenty of gameplay potential, but visually, I think it's got a long way to go, especially when compared to, say, SMG or MP3. This is a second-party title, like MP3. And Monolith is clearly capable of beautiful looking games (Baten Kaitos looked amazing on the Gamecube, and Xenosaga 2 and 3 pushed the PS2 pretty far). So it's a little disappointing. But I agree, it does look a lot better than it did. This game has moxie! Wii needs some boundary-pushing games like this, but you are crazy about the graphics. I really don't see much of a difference between the first screen and the recently released screens as you claim to, Chad. I think this game has HUGE potential. I would like better graphics, of course. But if the game is as fun as it looks...I really could care less. They get the job done. god please get over that hammer game, it looked like dynasty warriors but without the huge amount of enemies I LOVE Nintendo...but Project Hammer always looked like crap to me. I can't believe anyone was excited about it or why it was so talked about.
This game looks fantastic though. I can't help but feel that this would be a title better suited to the graphical splendours of the 360 or PS3, that is unless the wiimote is implemented is some terrific fashion.

It's different, that's for sure indeed. This is one of the few times that I'll say the graphics need some improvement. Game play wise it looks really, really fun. 2:00 PM on 03.20.2011 Is this Italian shooter as bad as Big Rigs? Our tips line has been flooded with emails about how this Italian game, made by a group of students, is supposedly worse than Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing.
