Dead Air is my favourite L4D1 campaign. Infact I like the majority of L4D1's campaign's over the second so I'm
glad to hear it's releasing early for PC users of L4D2.

I'm under some sort of mental obligation to buy this when it gets round to Xbox.
I played the Sacrifice very little, despite waiting months for it. Not the games fault, just got bored with L4D. Haven't played it in months so it might be better this time around.
Don't exactly appreciate that I'll (presumably) be charged for a community map and three Left 4 Dead 1 maps, but more L4D is always good, and will bring the number of maps in L4D2 up to... 12. Which is pretty packed with content really.

I agree. I found L4D's maps so much more memorable than L4D2's. It just seems like the environments for L4D were better than 2.
I played Cold Stream for the achievement, and it seems like a mix between the beginning of Blood Harvest (L4D) and the end of The Parish (L4D2).

Dead Air is easily the best campaign for Left 4 Dead. It's also cool to see so many people want this for the 360.
If it's solely Left 4 Dead maps, surely owners of the original should get some sort of discount? Or 400MS maybe?
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to play Dead Air with Melee weapons, but not... 800MS much.

I'm in the same boat here. Left 4 Dead is fun but I eventually got bored of it. These DLCs have brought back my interest from time to time, though.

I get bored of Left 4 Dead as well but my tolerance against the boredom takes quit a while to wither away. For this guy, L4D is the best MP experience this generation by far.

If you're talking about the AI, they don't even need snipers to do that. I've been killed by them without anyone else seeing me. It's always the best hiding spot too...

Well I played Left 4 Dead 1 a lot more. No idea why but the random nature of the AI Direcor seemed a lot more prevalent in the first game.
Pissed me off they took out random paths just because testing audiences didn't like it. Would have made the tedious campaigns of L4D2 less so. Way too much open space. L4D struck a perfect balance.

I agree Microsoft have fucked up majorly with Valve.
I'm certain we could be enjoying Steam connectivity too if MS weren't such tight arses. You can bet all the maps on Portal 2 will be free on Xbox, but untill a super compilation of L4D gets released on PS3, we're unfortunately probably paying for this.

It's cool to.see an official release. I've had the modded port for a whole, but it was hard to get a game set up... Ah, first world problems.
I don't understand the purpose of Left 2 Dead on PC with all this DLC. You might as well buy 2 and just wait for the entire game to be re-released. It's kind of stupid on Valve's part. They kept trying to assure older users that Left 4 Dead wouldn't be left in the dust, but then they give them nothing in return.
I really don't care, though. I got both for cheap and I do dig each one, though I still prefer 1.
