Look, I like Final Fantasy XIII. Unlike some people, I really liked it. But you have to draw the line somewhere. I draw it at a $9 iPhone App that gives you a gallery of Final Fantasy XIII art.
The Final Fantasy XIII Larger-than-Life Gallery is over 50mb of art from the game, including CG and character art. I could never sell anyone at this, so let Square Enix try:

Seriously? Even with the included calendar and clock function, I feel like this is worth...oh, $3? $2? Yeah, if you call it a "digital art book," it sounds fancy, but it's really just some high-res pictures for $9.
To be fair, if I could sell you screenshots for money, I'd do it all the time.

I do. I tried to type a thing on an iPhone, but it cut off the circulation in my hand as I was typing. Clearly I am too low a human being to use one without bringing harm to myself. One day I will overcome the human handicap of being unable to type on an imprecise screen without tactile feedback of any kind if it's the last thing I do. I can stand to be perceived as a knave of a technical sort no longer. Something will be done about this.

Can we blame SE for this? Yes indeedy. If they hadn't trashed the ff franchise then perhaps they wouldn't need to make more money off this piece of crap.

Sexual Chocolate: Just picture an iPhone app that featured nothing but pictures of Sony products and Battlefield BC2 screenshots. They just have a different 'leader' than you do.
I don't have either, i have an N97 and even with all it's HARDWARE gadgets, it's got apps too, but it also has mad HARDWARE like QWERTY keyboard, FM transmitter, Massive Memory, Awesome Camera, DVD quality video, Proper flash, etc etc, even with all that i still want to change it for an Android phone soon.
just need to find an Android phone with similar hardware.
It's not that I don't like the Iphone because it's popular, my problem is that you sheep only like it because it's popular. It's not good, it's just popular.
It does have a lot of 3rd party support, I'll give it that, but that's what happens when all the sheep follow each other to the store to buy something, it get's 3rd party support and rip off's like this.
The iPhone is popular because it is accessible, very easy to use and a large percentage of their customers couldn't give a damn about those advanced features. It also helps that the marketed it right, created an incredible brand and culture around their devices, and they look good too. They pretty much single handedly made the touch-screen a popular feature and have been aped by pretty much every company and their dog since they released the device.
It's called being incredibly well run business.
In terms of iPhone users being 'Sheep'. Er...pretty much all of the best selling phones in the history of the industry are Nokias buddy. I love my Nokia, but I don't consider myself some kind of some mobile phone illuminati because I use it. Google are not exactly the minnows of the business world either and no doubt put out a good product.
To bring the discussion back to games again, the iPhone is successful for the same reason the Wii is. Good ideas, first out of the gate, well marketed and knows it's target audience very, very well. It's not because everybody except you is a farmyard animal?

Now, don't get me wrong, I love Penny Arcade, but that's a couple hundred MS points I could have saved and spent on something more worthwhile.
As for this FF XIII wallpaper, well, this is just ridiculous.
