That $200 3DS XL bundle currently making the rounds about town? Eh. 'Tis not so great. You are limited to the blue model, and the bundled copy of Mario Kart 7 is digital only. At the very least, you can score a cool $20 gift card if you purchase the unit from Best Buy.

According to next week's flyer, Best Buy is besting its own deal by marking the price of all three colors -- blue, red, and pink -- of the standalone 3DS XL down to $159.99. This discount will run from Sunday, December 9, through Saturday, December 15, so jump on it, Apache.

This is much better! You can actually buy a physical copy of MK7 along with the unit, and the total will match the bundle's price. Of course, you aren't tethered to Mario Kart anymore, so feel free to run buck wild with your software selections.

Namco has made another Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures

Coming to PS3, 360, Wii U, and 3DS this fall, a sequel to "an emotionless venture that's devoid of any soul or effort." I guess Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, which is based on the new Pac-Man television series, did well enough to warrant a sequel.more
